The heart of our community is our global network of energetic and professional volunteers. All our programs, events and initiatives are driven by SCDM volunteers dedicated to advancing Clinical Data Science.

SCDM COMMITTEES

SCDM’s committees play a key role in furthering our strategic goals

Each Committee includes the working group leads related to the specific Committee, along with a Board and Executive Committee liaison. Our committees oversee the work of their respective working groups, acting as a key driver for SCDM’s strategic goals.

Education Committee

Implementing SCDM’s education strategy and overseeing the design and delivery of our educational programs.

Education Working Groups & Projects

Online Education: Designing and curating SCDM education programs, including webinars and podcasts.
Certification Programs: Maintaining the current CCDM and CCDA programs and developing the new CCDS program.
Events – SCDM Live: Designing the education programs for SCDM conferences and events across the globe.

Content Alignment Committee

Overseeing and coordinating all publication projects at SCDM and supporting education programs with guidance on content creation.

Content Alignment Working Groups & Projects

Innovation: Creating and publishing thought-leadership papers on the industry evolution to CDS, advancements in clinical trials and new developments in the CDM profession.
GCDMP©: Maintaining and creating new content for the the Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) manual.
JSCDM: Managing the Journal of the Society for Clinical Data Management® (JSCDM), including reviewing and editing submitted articles.
Content Marketing: Assisting in the dissemination and communication of new content on SCDM platforms.

Community Engagement Committee

Working to increase global engagement in SCDM activities as well as develop and promote dialogue with industry partners.

Community Engagement Working Groups & Projects

Academia Council: Designing and maintaining partnership programs and joint initiatives with academic institutions across the globe to engage with future CDM professionals.

Global Expansion Committee

Providing strategic input and guidance for supporting CDM professionals in regions of interest for SCDM. Current regions covered include: Americas, EMEA, India, China and Japan.
