× Director, Program Lead in the Vaccines therapeutic area, Clinical Data Sciences department at Pfizer with over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, starting as a research protein biochemist and moving into the Clinical Data Management discipline in 2000. She has experience in both Early and Late Phase clinical development, both in project and people management. Her therapeutic areas of experience are in Cardiovascular/Metabolism, Inflammation, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Rare Diseases, Ophthalmology and Vaccines. Carol has expertise in project and vendor oversight as well as global team leadership and governance. She holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology (specializing in Biotechnology) from William Paterson University. She have been involved in SCDM for over 20 years, holding various volunteer positions (BoT, AC co-chair) and currently is the chair of SCDM.

× Ward Lemaire is the Head of Data Management and Central Monitoring of J&J Innovative Medicine, accountable for all Data Management and Central Monitoring deliverables in the J&JIM portfolio and defines and shapes the Data Management and Central Monitoring Strategy. Ward is a member of the Board of Trustees of SCDM with specific focus on the Corporate Partnership, the GCDMP working group and the global expansion program. Ward holds a master’s degree in Cell and Gene Biotechnology and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Biological sciences and is in the industry for 20 years. Ward has lived in 3 continents; originally from Belgium but has also lived and worked out of China and now located in the US for the last 8 years out of Springhouse, PA. In his free time, Ward coaches basketball and loves spending quality time with his family.

× Twenty-five years of biotechnology, microbiology and clinical trial data management. Areas of focus include recombinant, subunit, attenuated and whole cell bacterin and viral vaccines, cellular therapy, oncology, gout and biosimilar studies as well as monoclonal therapies. Significant exposure to global team leadership, project management and data operations functional management support for local and global team members, including clinical data coordinators, lead data managers and functional managers. Active member of SCDM, working as conference co-chair for 2020 through 2023 annual general meetings. He isa board of trustees member 2022 through 2024, currently acting as Community Engagement BoT liaison and Executive Secretary of SCDM.

× Patrick Nadolny has over 30 years of industry experience across pharmaceutical, device and biologics as well as technology development. He is a pragmatic leader focusing on technology, innovation, strategic planning, change management, and the setup of new capabilities. In addition to his SCDM role, he leads the SCDM innovation committee, which recently released 3 reflection papers on the evolution of Clinical Data Management toward Clinical Data Science.
