There are specific criteria you’ll need to meet in order

- Bachelor’s degree or higher and 2+ years full-time CDM experience
- Associate’s degree and 3+ years full-time CDM experience
- 4+ years full-time CDM experience
- Part-time work experience equal to or surpassing full-time equivalent in the above criteria

The Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) manual serves as the foundation for exam preparation and presents a comprehensive understanding of the field. When you feel you’re prepared and ready to take the exam, you’ll need to create an account and schedule an exam. Click on the link to get started.

- Submit your application
- Schedule your exam
We’ll send you an application confirmation
After 14 days you’ll get an approval/denial email with access to the platform to schedule your exam. This needs to be done within 90 days.
Schedule exam using your Prolydian account
Log into the system and go to the Your Exams area. Click the Schedule button and follow the steps. If you miss your exam, you have 24 hours to book a new date.
What to expect on the day of your exam
You’ll have 3.5 hours to take the test. You can take breaks during the test, but the clock won’t be stopped. The exam will be supervised live by our partner Prolydian.

How to renew your
CCDM® certification
Your CCDM® Certification is valid for 3 years and when
the time comes, you’ll need to renew it by completing a
renewal form. By doing so, it reaffirms your commitment
and skillset within clinical data management.
